External Notify

The automation package External Notify ensures that every employee involved in a case is notified in case of important events in IHLP® 2007. 

Receiving email alerts the employees of the service desk, the IT staff, and the end users are always kept up to date on the development of important cases - even if they are not logged on to IHLP® 2007.

With External Notify, IHLP® 2007 automatically generates mails to alert users when, for example, the following events occur:

To the responsible employee in the service desk
  • When a new comment is added
  • When a new file is attached
  • When a request is assigned to the employee
To the end user
  • When the service desk receives a request created by the end user
  • When a new comment is added to a request created by the end user
  • When a new file is attached to a request created by the end user
  • When a request created by the end user is closed
